The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike on Monday stated that he does not have the intention to become a minister in 2023. There had been speculations that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar might give him the Minister of Petroleum.
Wike was reportedly offered the position after Atiku picked the Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate.
